Libya’s minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun, on Monday, met with representatives of the international company Shell during an online expanded meeting.

The ministry indicated in a statement that the Libyan side reviewed aspects of cooperation with the company to develop environmentally friendly renewable energy projects due to the vast and successful experience of Shell in this area.

In addition, Minister Aoun discussed with Shell officials mining concessions with the view to boost oil and gas exploration and production activities.

Last week, Aoun discussed cooperation with the Middle East Policy Council in the United States of America, Libya observer reports.
