As climate change continues to intensify environmental challenges, especially in regions susceptible to arid conditions, CAMIC remains steadfast in cultivating innovative solutions for sustainable development.
Drought, an enduring threat in West Africa, presents significant obstacles to agricultural productivity, water availability, and livelihoods.
In response, CAMIC has collaborated with leading experts and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive approach aimed at mitigating the impacts of drought and bolstering resilience in affected communities.
Key Strategies Proposed by CAMIC:
1. Promotion of Drought-Resistant Crops: CAMIC advocates for the adoption and cultivation of drought-resistant crop varieties that can thrive in arid conditions.
