The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Oyetola Adegboyega, on Thursday, hosted Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) team, led by Dr Jumoke Oduwole.
The meeting focused on evaluating the performance of key agencies under the ministry.
A post on the verified X handle of the minister indicated that the meeting also highlighted the collective efforts of the agencies in improving efficiency and cultivating a business-friendly environment.
The post read in part: “My team and I welcomed the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) team, led by Dr.Jumoke Oduwole.
“This significant meeting focused on evaluating the performance of key agencies such as the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigerian Inland Waterways (NIWA), Nigerian Shippers Council, and the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria.
“It highlights a collective effort to improve efficiency and cultivate a business-friendly environment.”
