The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted haziness from Monday to Wednesday across the country.

NiMet’s weather outlook released on Sunday in Abuja predicted the Northern states to be in dust haze during the forecast period on Monday.

According to it, the North Central cities should be in slight dust haze throughout the forecast period.

The agency envisaged the inland cities of the South and the coastal region to be in moderate dust haze with visibility values of 3000m to 5000m during the forecast period.

“For Tuesday, the Northern states are expected to be in moderate dust haze with horizontal visibility range between 3000m and 5000m throughout the day.

“The North Central cities should be predominantly in dust haze throughout the forecast period.

“The inland cities of the South and the Coastal region should be hazy during the forecast period,” it said.

NiMet forecast the Northern states to be in thick dust haze during the forecast period on Wednesday.

According to it, the North central cities should be in dust haze with horizontal visibility range between 2000m and 5000m with localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000m throughout the forecast period.

NiMet anticipated the inland cities of the South and the Coastal region to be hazy during the forecast period.
