NiMet forecasts thunderstorm, cloudy to sunny skies

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted via it official Twitter account, the average weather conditions of states in Nigeria for Saturday 5 June 2021.

According to it prediction, partly cloudy to sunny skies are expected over the Northern region with prospect of few thunderstorms over parts of Kebbi and Kaduna during the morning hours.

Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected over parts of Katsina, Yobe Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe, Bauchi, Jigawa, Kano, Borno, Sokoto and Zamfara.

There are prospects of thunderstorms over parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Nassarawa, Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Niger in the North central region in the morning hours.

Later in the day, partly cloudy skies with spells of sunshine are anticipated with prospect of few thunderstorms over parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi and Nassarawa.

The Inland and the Coastal region have prospect of thunderstorms to affect parts of Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Edo, Oyo, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Rivers and Lagos during the morning hours.

Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Edo, Imo, Ebonyi, Anambra, Ondo, Abia, Ogun, Osun, Rivers, Delta, Cross River and Akwa Ibom state.
