New report says China emits more greenhouse gasses than all other developed nations combined
New research shows that China is responsible for 27 percent of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions in 2019, which is more than all of the developed nations combined.
The Rhodium Group, one of the leading independent research providers, concluded that China is now emitting triple the amount of gas as it was three decades ago, according to the BBC.
According to the firm, the U.S. is the second-largest emitter, responsible for 11 percent of the world’s greenhouse gases, followed by India in third place, making up up about 7 percent.

“This major strategic decision is made based on our sense of responsibility to build a community with a shared future for mankind and our own need to secure sustainable development,” President Xi said.
