The agreement, formalized on May 5, 2025, at UNICCON Group’s headquarters in Abuja, is designed to foster collaboration in areas such as research and development, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems, technical advancements, and specialized training programs.
Dr. Mathew Adepoju, Director General of NASRDA, stressed the importance of private-sector collaboration to drive national development and innovation.
“Our goal is to establish a thriving, sustainable space ecosystem in Nigeria, with active private-sector involvement,” he said. “This partnership is crucial in accelerating innovation and ensuring that space technology benefits both the economy and the everyday lives of Nigerians.”
