Abu Dhabi crown Prince meets China’s BYD chief on sustainable autos

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has met with Wang Chuanfu, Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD, on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
The high-level meeting underscored Abu Dhabi’s continued efforts to strengthen international partnerships that support sustainable development and advanced industrial growth.
Discussions focused on exploring opportunities for cooperation in the electric and hybrid vehicle manufacturing sector.
Both sides examined ways to exchange expertise and technical knowledge to accelerate innovation in clean mobility solutions.
