Olive Oil is oil extracted from an Olive fruit. It is scientifically known as Olea europaea and it is one of the most recommended oil by health enthusiasts. It is addressed as liquid gold, in ancient times.

Olive oil has numerous health benefits such as: aiding in weight loss, reducing the risk of arthritis, cancer, and regulating cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
It is mostly grown in the Mediterranean parts of the world where it is mostly consumed. The Mediterranean regions have a reduced mortality rates when compared to other parts of the world, which signifies its positive impact on health.

Olive oil is rich in Vitamin E, which helps to improve the skin health by treating inflammation, acne, and protecting the skin from serious ailments like psoriasis, skin cancer and other skin related problems. Olive oil helps to delay aging thereby preventing skin sagging and wrinkles.

Olive oil is combined with hot lemon water to exfoliate the heels which moisturizes and smoothes the foot. It benefits the hair by preventing hair loss and damages. It also improves nail health.

Including Olive oil in the diet helps to prevents range of disease such as Alzheimer’s diseases, this occurs as a result of oleocanthal contained in it. It also keeps the blood sugar level in check, treats depression and also prevents breast cancer.
