Kebbi State Govt Initiates Free Fuel Program for Farmers

The Kebbi State Government, in collaboration with the federal government, has announced a program to provide free petrol to farmers, aiming to support and enhance dry-season farming activities.
Governor Nasir Idris disclosed this information during a campaign for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Yauri local government area ahead of the bye-election for the Yauri/Shanga/Ngaski federal constituency.
Governor Idris revealed that the state government is working in conjunction with Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudo, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, to finalize the logistics for the initiative.
The decision to offer free petrol to farmers is part of the government’s efforts to boost agricultural productivity, particularly during the dry season.
The governor urged residents in the area to unite and support the APC candidates during the upcoming bye-election, emphasizing the government’s commitment to agricultural development and the welfare of farmers in Kebbi State.
