Students, staff and guests were shocked to witnessed the sight of a giant python killed in an attempt to swallow a sizeable she goat at the front of UNIBEN Hall, College of Education, Warri at about 2pm on Thursday, October 29, 2020.The reptile which was about six feet long was said to be in the process of swallowing the goat which it had killed when a female cleaner raised an alarm after seeing the horrible scene.It was gathered further that one of the college’s security guards who was attracted to the scene by the alarm of the bewildered woman, waisted no time in firing some shots into the head of the creature to the relief of students, staffs and guests that witnessed the scene.

However, those who spoke to our correspondent made an appeal for the authorities concerned to effect clearing of the bushy environment which was enveloped by over grown weeds during the long lock down period. They also appealed for the fumigation of the entire school premises to enhance a safe environment for all at all times now that the college has resumed.
