The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), has stepped up efforts to attract investment into Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, showcasing business opportunities across the energy value chain at the 2026 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC).

The conference which is holding between November 2 to 5, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, has more than 239,000 participants from over 170 countries, across governments, energy companies, investors and other stakeholders

The Nigerian delegation at the conference led by NNPCL Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, is made up of key officials of the petroleum sector, including the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri; the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Dr. Ekperikpe Ekpo; and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Patience Oyekunle.

Also in attendance is the Commission Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan.

The NNPCL on a post on its X official handle on Tuesday noted that the opening ceremony featured an address by the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, who set the tone for discussions on energy development, investment opportunities and cooperation among industry players.

“Following the opening ceremony, NNPC Ltd. opened its exhibition stand to international visitors, using the platform to highlight its operations and investment opportunities in the upstream, midstream and downstream segments of the oil and gas industry,” the post read in part.

The exhibition is expected to provide an opportunity for the company to engage potential investors, financiers, business partners and government representatives interested in Nigeria’s energy sector.

Among the early visitors to the NNPC stand were the company’s Board Chairman, Ahmadu Musa Kida, members of its board and the President and Chief Executive of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

Beyond the exhibition, NNPCL said, its participation includes presentations by members of its leadership at strategic and technical sessions, where they are engaging international industry leaders and investors on the future of energy supply.

The engagements are expected to strengthen discussions on investment, partnerships and developments across the global energy industry.
