Goron Tula is known scientifically as Azanza garckeana and it is a unique fruit which is indigenous to Africa, prevalent in the Tula region of Gombe State, Nigeria.

It is commonly referred to as the “African chewing gum” or “snot apple,” which makes it a natural alternative to chewing gum due to its sweet, pleasant flavor when chewed.

It is celebrated for its sweet, sticky jelly-like pulp and numerous health benefits and has been an integral parts of traditional diets and medicinal practices for generations, and its popularity continues to grow as more people become aware of its nutritional value and health-promoting properties.

The tree thrives in tropical climates and is commonly found in parts of Nigeria, Botswana, and other African countries.

Goron Tula is a nutrient-dense fruit, packed with essential vitamins and minerals that contribute to overall health and well-being.

It aids in digestion and promotes regular bowel movements, prevent constipation and cleanse the digestive tract and all digestive related issues, due to its dietary fibre content.

It is rich in Vitamin C which enhances the immune system and helps the body fight off infections and illnesses. It is a natural energy boost, as it helps to combat fatigue and improve physical stamina.

In the traditional medicine, Goron tula is used to enhance fertility and improve sexual health. It is used to increase libido, improve sexual performance, and regulate menstrual cycles.

Goron tula has anti-inflammatory properties which help to reduce inflammation and pain in the body and helps to manage conditions like arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.
