Jigawa State’s ACReSAL Project Launches Committees for Enhanced Resilience

The ACReSAL project in Jigawa State has initiated the establishment of management committees in eight local government councils, with another nineteen currently in the process of formation.

The initial eight local government councils include Dutse, Auyo, Ringim, Birnin Kudu, Buji, Kiyawa, Hadejia, and Kirikasamma.

In an official statement during the formal launch, Alhaji Yahaya Muhammad Ubah Kafingana, the State Project Coordinator, emphasized that the primary objective behind forming these committees is to facilitate collaboration and coordination with the State Project Monitoring Unit (SPMU) to ensure the success of the ongoing projects within the state.

Mr. Yahaya Muhammad Ubah urged committee members to uphold the values of punctuality, diligence, honesty, fairness, and prudence in their duties.

He stressed the importance of working in harmony with the steering committees to foster the development of the state.

Expressing his appreciation and gratitude, the State Project Coordinator extended his thanks to the local government council chairs for their support and cooperation in the Acresal project.
