UAE Sets To Support Nigeria’s Humanitarian Crises

In a significant step towards addressing humanitarian crises and poverty in Nigeria, Dr. Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, met with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister Of Tolerance of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at the grand Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, Sheikh Al Nahyan, a respected Emirati royal and prominent politician, expressed his commitment to supporting Nigeria in its efforts to address humanitarian challenges and eradicate poverty.
This aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, highlighting the shared dedication of both nations in tackling pressing issues affecting the most vulnerable members of society.
Furthermore, the Nigerian team eagerly awaits the arrival of President Bola Tinubu in Dubai, UAE.
As a significant leader convening at COP28, President Tinubu is expected to contribute to finding solutions to the pressing issues surrounding climate change and reinforcing Nigeria’s position on the global stage.
