Oyo Govt Initiates Plan to Employ 200 Health Workers for Disease Prevention

In a proactive move to prevent potential disease outbreaks, Mottainai Recycling Ltd., the waste management consultant to the Oyo State government, has unveiled its strategy to recruit 200 environmental health workers.
The Chief Strategy Officer of the firm in the state, Ms. Uloma Airhienbuwa, made this announcement in a recent statement.
The main objective of these environmental health workers will be to educate the residents of Oyo State on best practices for maintaining a sanitary environment.
Ms. Airhienbuwa stressed the crucial role they will play in curbing disease transmission and ensuring a healthy living environment for all citizens.
“We have finalized the necessary preparations to hire approximately 200 environmental health officers, who will actively work towards preventing disease outbreaks in Oyo State,” she stated.
Addressing the residents of the state, Ms. Airhienbuwa urged them to remain conscious of their surroundings and extend support to the government’s efforts in fostering a healthy environment. The ad-hoc environmental health officers will be deployed across all local government areas within the state.
These officers will take up the responsibility of educating residents on proper sanitary practices to mitigate the spread of transmittable and communicable diseases.
Furthermore, they will be stationed at the state’s entry points to enforce and implement robust disease prevention measures at all state boundaries.
Ms. Airhienbuwa emphasized the crucial role of environmental health officers as preventive health workers in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of the environment on a global scale.
Mottainai Recycling Ltd. actively seeks to hire environmental health officers, technologists, technicians, and health assistants to enhance waste management efficiency in the state.
