The International Seabed Authority in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Transportation, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and the National Boundary Commission (NBC) Is set to host a workshop on Africa’s Deep Seabed Resources in Nigeria by October.
The workshop aimed at raising awareness among African states about the importance and opportunities associated with the development of Africa’s continental shelf is scheduled to hold in Abuja.
The workshop will also increase the participation of African indigenous companies in exploration activities undertaken in the international seabed areas.
