Nasarawa state Governor mourns the death of late Emir of the state of Kuwait as he solicits for partnership in oil and gas production

Nasarawa state Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule has condoled the people of the State of Kuwait over demised of the late Emir HRH Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah who died on the 29th of September,2020.

Delivering the condolence message at the Kuwait Embassy,Maitama Abuja , Monday Governor Abdullahi Sule represented by his senior special Assistant on Liaison office Abuja Hon Yusuf Maianguwa described late Emir of the state of Kuwait as a great freedom fighter and a global humanitarian who battled and restored the country’s international relations after the Gulf War.

Governor Sule further eulogies the late monarch as an astute and judicious leader adding that the technological and economic advancement of Kuwait came active with his wealth of experience and technological support as well as firm leadership resulting in sound economic foundations praying God forgive all his deeds .

The Governor’s delegation which had Head of Administration and protocol liaison office Abuja Abdulhamid Musa Tanko joined the people of Kuwait and millions of admirers to mourn Al Sheikh Sabah death but give thanks to Allah for granting him the grace to have lived , served his people and died at this prime age.

Governor Sule equally used the visit to congratulate the new Emir of Kuwait prince Nawaf for succeeding his late elder brother and prayed that God should grant him the wisdom and strength to lead Kuwait to greatness.

The Governor called on the new Emir not only to continue but sustain the existing bilateral relations between Kuwait and Nasarawa state especially with the ongoing oil exploration work in Keana local government Area of the state in order to support the government of Nasarawa quest to join the league of oil producing states in Nigeria.

Responding the Kuwait Ambassador to Nigeria AbdulAziz AlBisher appreciated the Governor for the visit promising to forward his sympathy to the new Emir of Kuwait.
