Lawmaker installs solar street lights in Keffi
Nasarawa State Assemblyman Abdulaziz Danladi has installed 50 solar streetlights worth N3.5 million in his Keffi constituency, Nasarawa State.
Danladi, who represents Keffi East Constituency at the state House of Assembly, supervised the installation of the solar streetlights in Keffi on Friday.
The lawmaker, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Works, said that the project was aimed at enhancing security and improve on the social life of his constituents.
Danladi also said that the gesture was borne out of his desire to continue to improve on the standard and welfare of the people of his constituency.
He charged the benefiting communities of his constituency to jealously guard and protect the facilities against vandalism and theft.
The lawmaker assured the people of effective representation at the state legislature.
“I will continue to represent the people of my constituency well at the state legislature.
“This is to enable them enjoy more dividends of democracy as well as to ensure improvement on their standard of living.
“The solar street lights project will enhance security and socio-economic activities of the people considering its importance to human and societal development,” he said.
Danladi also called on his constituents to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed beyond 2023.
