Coconut, Dates and Tigernut Juice is a tasty, healthy and nutrients loaded drink that soothes the body and soul. Their health benefits are abundant and neglected by many. It is a special drink prepared by combining coconut, Dates and Tigernut together. This drink is good for both young and old for immune boost and other amazing health benefits.
The individual nuts and Dates used in preparing this mouth watering Juice have different names they are known for in most parts of Nigeria.
Coconut is called Aki bekee/Aku Oyibo in Igbo language, Agbon in Yoruba and Kwakwa in Hausa language. Dates fruits are popular as Mkpuru Ubochi by Igbos, Debino in Hausa and Eso Eso among the Yorubas. While Tigernut is called Aki Hausa, Ofio and Aya in Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa respectively. This drink is popular in countries in Africa and Middle East.
This drink is known and consumed for their Aphrodisiac properties. They help to improve sexual drive in males and females. They are natural lubricant for women.
Preparations: Recipe
• 3 cups of Tigernuts (washed and soaked in water for 24hrs)
• one large coconut ( break and remove the shell
• one cup of Dates (wash, cut and remove the seeds)

PREPARATIONS
• Put all nuts and dates in a blender and add enough water and blend until the mixture is smooth. Use a fine and clean sieve to squeeze out all the mixture to extract all the milk. You can put back the blended mixture back in the blender, add water, blend and sieve again until all the milk are extracted. Pour in a Jug and put in the freeze and allow to cool.
This wonderful drink is best served chilled and can be eaten with food, any snacks or may be taken alone. This drink is rich in nutrients as it contains vitamins, minerals that are great for proper body functions.
