Northern traders invited by DSS over blocking of food to South

By Abdulrahman Abdullahi

Leaders of the Amalgamated Union of Foodstuffs and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria have been invited by the Department of State Services for blocking the supply of foodstuffs and cattle from the North to the South.

While addressing the press on Monday in Abuja, the General Secretary, AUFCDN, Ahmed Alaramma said the President of the association, Mohammed Tahir, was with the DSS.

The blockade, which has entered its fourth day, was done in protest against the alleged killing of their members in the South.

They had also called on the Federal Government to pay them billions in compensation.
