The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has launched NiMet Pilot Briefing Room as well as the State -of-the art Conference hall.
According to information made known to NatureNews on Thursday, Senator Sirika said the idea was smart and applaudable.
“We commend them, we celebrate them. They have been doing many projects that are innovative and they have been taking the lead to promote safety and security,” he said.
Before the event of the pilot briefing room, the Minister had commissioned the remodelled state – of-the-art Conference room and the Central Forecast Office (CFO) both in NiMet headquarters.
Since Resuming office, the DG NiMet, Prof. Mansur Bako Matazu has developed infrastructure in NiMet offices across the country. This improvement is still ongoing various NiMet offices.
