Why I’ll convert my home to resort – Kalu

By Nneka Nwogwugwu

The Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu has revealed his intention to convert his country home in Igbere, Abia State into a resort.
According to him, the home was commissioned in 1999.
Kalu made this known while attending the birthday celebration of a billionaire oil mogul, Mr. Jack Rich over the weekend.
The former Abia state Governor’s home was opened on May 28, 1999, a day before he was sworn in to take over.
Giving reasons for his decision, Kalu noted that there is no need to carry out further renovation work on the building, which he said has become old-fashioned.
‘’Everything about life is vanity, I can’t provide answers as to why I have such magnificent edifice anytime my children seek answers from me,’’ he added.
