Water Minister Demonstrates Unwavering Commitment to Sokoto State Amid Recent Bandit Attacks

The Minister of State for Water Resources and Sanitation, Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, has demonstrated steadfast dedication to the well-being of the people of Sokoto State in the wake of recent bandit attacks.
During his visit to Sokoto on Saturday, Goronyo extended his heartfelt condolences to the victims of the affected communities. The areas in question, including Sabon Garin Dole, Boyekai, and Giyawa, all situated in Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto State, were disclosed in a press release issued by Mrs. Funmi Imuetinyan, the Head of the Press and PR Unit at the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation.
The Minister of State revealed that these tragic attacks, orchestrated by bandits, have plunged these communities into mourning, with numerous lives lost and many others suffering from injuries.
As a native of Sokoto State, Hon. Goronyo expressed his deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims, sharing in their grief during this challenging period.
During his visit, Hon. Goronyo offered heartfelt prayers for the souls of those who tragically lost their lives. He also provided solace and support to the affected communities, aiming to alleviate their pain and hardships.
In a remarkable show of solidarity, the Honourable Minister made a substantial cash donation to the affected communities, aiming to mitigate the impact of the attack and support the affected families as they embark on the path to recovery and healing.
He called upon all stakeholders and the community at large to join hands in efforts to restore peace, security, and stability to the affected areas.
