The Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, on Tuesday marked his birthday with prayers and a renewed pledge to strengthen his service to the nation.
Prof. Utsev expressed gratitude to God and prayed for continued wisdom, strength and good health to support the policies and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.
He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing key national goals, including improved water resources management, enhanced food security through irrigated agriculture, and sustainable hydropower development.
The minister noted that the ministry remains focused on expanding access to clean and safe water, boosting agricultural productivity, and strengthening energy generation for national growth.
Prof. Utsev thanked Nigerians for their support and goodwill, pledging continued dedication to building a more sustainable and prosperous country.
