In a significant development, Ukraine has partnered with Lagos Free Zone company to establish a grain terminal at Nigeria’s Lekki Port, as confirmed by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on
Monday.
The signing of a joint memorandum occurred in London during the Ukraine Recovery Conference, as reported by Voice of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian agricultural industry remains pivotal in safeguarding global food security, especially in light of the world’s growing
population.

The Lekki Deep Sea Port in Nigeria represents the country’s inaugural fully automated port. This project is a joint effort involving the Nigerian government, Lagos State government, Singapore’s Tolarams
Group (owner of Lagos Free Zone), and the China Harbour Engineering Company (CNEC).
