By Yemi Olakitan

Tropical Wildlife Domestication Centre (TWDC) has signed MOU with the management of the Obafemi Awolowo University while also reviving the zoological garden of the University at Ile-Ife, Osun State.

According to Nature News Sources, the challenges facing the zoological garden, which nearly led to the death of some animals like lions, tigers among others, made the wildlife organisation and management to revitalise the garden.

The Secretary of Board of Trustees of TWDC, Prof. Maxwell Opara, said the organisation had been rehabilitating distressed wildlife species within the OAU wildlife facility.

The Chairman of the organisation, Mr Francis Abioye, said the organisation signed MoU with the institution two years after they had been taking care of distressed animals.
