Qatar Charity Foundation Partners Kaduna Govt on Mass Housing

The Kaduna State government has announced a partnership with the Qatar Charity Foundation to provide affordable housing for its citizens, especially those who are economically disadvantaged.

The partnership is part of the state government’s vision to transform the rural areas and reduce poverty, which affects more than 80 percent of the population in some regions.

The governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, said that housing is a key priority for his administration, as it will improve the living standards and well-being of the people.

The Qatar Charity Foundation is a global humanitarian organization that supports various development projects in Africa and other parts of the world.

The foundation has committed to fund the construction of 100 houses in the first phase of the Mass Housing Project, which is located at Millennium City, Kaduna.

The governor, who visited the project site with some senior government officials, expressed his appreciation to the foundation for its generosity and collaboration.

He also said that his administration is seeking more interventions from other development partners in different sectors, such as health, education, agriculture and infrastructure.

He said that his administration is determined to work with various partners and implement multiple interventions to make Kaduna State a model of development and progress.
