POFAN to unveil 10 years rolling plan for potato production

The Potato Farmers Association of Nigeria (POFAN) is set to unveil the road map to 10 years implementation rolling plan for potato production, utilisation and value chain development initiative in Nigeria.

The National President of POFAN, chief Daniel Okafor made this known in a statement on Monday.

The launching will hold on Tuesday, November 9th at Raw materials, research and development Council, Abuja.

The core objectives of the plan according to chief Okafor, is to increase production of raw materials in potato value chain, contribute to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product and expand current hectares of land.

Among dignitaries to grace the occasion are LT. Gen. CI. Obiakor Rtd and AVM sir Gregory Agboneni, former ministry administrator of Adamawa and Cross River state.
