Petroleum engineers partner LCCI on emission transition webinar

Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Enginners (NIPetE), in partnership with Professional Practice Group of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), is hosting a high-powered seminar on transitioning away from emissions.
The event, which is convened by distinguished Professor A. Chidi Ibe, a renowned consultant on energy, environment, and climate change, is slated for September 5.
Prof. Ibe, who is the lead expert at KUO Consulting Nigeria Limited, says the one day webinar is on a topical global theme, “Transitioning away from emissions, not oil and gas”.
Chief host of the event is the President & Chairman of Council, LCCI, Mr. Gabriel Idahosa, while the host is the National Chairman, NIPetE & Chairman of the PPG of LCCI, Engr. Prisca Kanebi.
Keynote speaker is Dr. Nuhu Habib, a former Executive Commissioner, Development and Production, Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
The leading discussants are Dr. Mohammed Malami, Planning and Commercial Senior Officer, Gas and Power Investment Service (NNPC Limited), and Mr. lbrahim M. Ilo, Manager, Remediation, CCUS & ESG, Health, Safety, Environment Community (NUPRC).
