Ondo State Kicks Off 2024 Farming Season with Support for Farmers

The Ondo State Government has inaugurated the 2024 farming season, aiming to boost local agriculture and ensure food security.

The recent event featured the distribution of agricultural inputs to farmers from various local government areas, demonstrating the state’s commitment to enhancing food production.

Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami, representing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, highlighted the government’s efforts to address the challenges faced by farmers by providing a favorable environment for agricultural activities.

In his opening remarks, State Commissioner for Agriculture Olayato Aribo emphasized that the annual event serves as an opportunity for the government to educate farmers on agricultural advancements and provide them with improved seeds, livestock, and other essential farming materials.
