Ogun state Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Rural Development and Water Resources, Mr. Adetunji Kanimodo, reiterated that the state government will support the federal government’s policies of eradicating open defecation in 2025.

Kanimodo said this after the successful training of Sanitation Desk Officers (SDOs) across the 20 local government areas (LGAs) in Ogun State.
According to Kanimodo, the training was conducted to promote toilet uptake in the state and put a stoppage to the practice of open defecation, Daily trust reports.
He, therefore, enjoined the SDOs to take the training seriously and use the knowledge gained for the betterment of their communities.
