NSEC calls for entries into essay writing competition

The Nigeria Society for Environmental Conservation (NSEC) is calling on Africans to make entries into the Essay writing competition.

The Essay will be centered on the topic entitled “COVID-19 and Biodiversity Conservation: Impacts and New Perspectives to Move Forward”.

NSEC made this known in a statement on Saturday.

According to them, ” The competition is open to all Africans.

“All essays must be typed in English and submitted as a word document.

“The maximum length is 500 words, single-spaced with a size of Times New Roman font.

“Essays will be scored based on content, originality, use of language, creativity, clearness of concept communicated and depth of understanding of the topic.”

The application submission started on March 20 and will end on April 20.

Winners will go home with cash prizes and would have their essays published as articles.

Their articles will also be included in the book of abstracts for the upcoming NSEC conference.

The overall winner will read the essay at the conference.
