NPAN President tasks NatureNews on adopting strategic communication

The President of Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN), Mallam Yusuf Kabiru, has tasked NatureNews Africa management on the adoption of strategic communications for the company’s growth.

Kabiru, who is also the Chairman of Media Trust Limited stated this when he was giving his remarks at the celebration of the first anniversary of NatureNews and launch of ClimateAfrica magazine on Tuesday in Abuja.

Speaking on revenue generation, Kabiru expressed concern for poor revenue generation of newspaper establishment in the country, urging that strategic communication should be employed by media housed.

He urged the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of NatureNews and ClimateAfrica magazine, Alhaji Aliu Akoshile to adopt strategic ways to push his establishment forward.

Commenting on the launch of the magazine, Kabiru hailed the publisher for making great contributions into restoring the environment through numerous publications.

Akoshile, in response, stated that “ClimateAfrica will be deployed to reporting the environment and to amplify creative solutions for making the environment habitable for human being, animals and plants.”

He said that Climate Change is the most topical issue globally because climate impact now poses grave danger to humanity in all ramifications of existence.
