NOA warns Ondo residents against indiscriminate dumping of refuse

By Bisola Adeyemo

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Ondo State has urged the residents to ensure all drainages are cleared up and free of waste in designated waste points, ahead of the monthly environmental exercise.

The (NOA) Director, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu stated this on Friday while announcing March Edition of monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise slated for Saturday, March 26, between the hours of 7-10 am.

In a statement made available to newsmen through (NOA) Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Ralph Oguntibeju, NOA urged the people of the state to massively come out and tidy up their surroundings.

She added that there would be restrictions of both human and vehicular movement during the period.

The (NAO) further cautions residents from dumping waste inappropriately, else such a person would be prosecuted by the State Environmental Extant Laws.
