By Yemi Olakitan

The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Ltd, NNPC has urged Nigerians to disregard unfounded rumours and assured them that there are no plans for an upward review of the PMS price.

In a statement made available to the media on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, NNPC insists that there is no imminent increase in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.

In the statement endorsed by Olufemi O. Soneye, the NNPC Chief Corporate Communications Officer, the organisation advised motorists nationwide against engaging in panic buying, as there is presently ample availability of PMS across the country.
