NLNG Chief to Speak at London International Shipping Week

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria LNG Ship Management Limited (NSML), Abdul-Kadir Ahmed has been confirmed as speaker for the West Africa Shipping Assembly (WASA) scheduled to hold on 12th September 2023. WASA is a highlight event of the London International Shipping Week.

The event which is targeted to offer practical, realistic insights into trends, operations and opportunities across the continent’s coastal markets, will host the region’s business, trade and regulatory interests who operate in the shipping and maritime value chain.

NSML, which is a subsidiary of Nigeria LNG, has severally been ranked as Nigeria’s most successful indigenous maritime company. The company is responsible for the technical management and manning of NLNG’s BGT fleet and NLNG’s marine terminal on Bonny Island.

Until his appointment as MD/CEO, Abdulkadir was the Manager, Commercial Marketing and Business Development in NLNG, having joined the company from roles in development and investment banking.

Ships and Ports reports that with over 20 years’ experience in all functional areas of the commercial LNG business, Ahmed has held several senior and management positions in sales/contract administration, pricing and risk management, marketing and development.
