There was light rain fall on Tuesday evening in parts of Rivers State.
Community sources told NatureNews that there was rain fall during the afternoon and evening hours on Tuesday.

A source from Okolomade in Abua/Odual local government area of Rivers State, Mary, said locals who went to farm were drenched. “There was rain today towards the evening. We were drenched in the farm,” she said.
She also stated that the people were happy as there were earlier concerns that crops will die as a result of the excess heat wave.
Light shower and dark clouds were also noticed in parts of Port Harcourt, the state capital during the evening.
The Nigeria Meteorological Agency, NiMet, had in its latest weather report last Friday, predicted that there would be isolated thunderstorms in some parts of Rivers and Bayelsa states during the afternoon and evening between Saturday and Monday.
