NiMet forecasts thunderstorms, cloudy, sunny skies

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has forecasts the average weather conditions of states in Nigeria for Thursday 6 May 2021.



According to the report released by the agency via its Twitter page, there will be Partly cloudy to sunny skies over the Northern region during the morning hours with prospects of few thunderstorms over parts of Kebbi, Zamfara, Southern-Borno, Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi and Gombe state during the afternoon and evening hours.



The North Central region should be under cloudy skies with spells of sunshine in the morning hours.



Later in the day, there are prospects of thunderstorms over parts of Benue, Plateau, Nassarawa Niger, Kogi, Kwara and the Federal Capital Territory in the afternoon and evening hours.



The Inland and the Coastal cities of the South are expected to be under cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine.



However, few thunderstorms are expected over Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa state during the morning hours.



Later in the day, thunderstorms are anticipated over parts of Enugu, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Anambra, Imo, Edo and Abia state, also parts of the Coastal cities such as Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Lagos, Delta and Bayelsa state.
