NiMet forecasts thunderstorms, cloudy skies, sunny skies

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has forecasts the average weather conditions of states in Nigeria for Thursday 8 April 2021.

Sunny skies are expected over the North with chances of thunderstorms over southern Yola, parts of Yelwa, Taraba and the Mambilla Plateau during the afternoon and evening hours.

The North central regions are expected to be in partly cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine during the morning hours. However, there are chances of thunderstorms over Abuja, Niger, Makurdi, Lokoja and Ilorin while thundry activity will prevail over Jos during the afternoon and evening hours.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected over the Inland cities of the south during the morning hours. Isolated thunderstorms are expected over Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti, Edo, Imo, Delta, Abia, Anambra and Ebonyi state while other places within the inland cities are expected to be cloudy during the afternoon and evening hours.

Cloudy skies are expected over the Coastal cities of the south except Cross River and Akwa Ibom where thunderstorms are expected during the morning hours, while in the afternoon and evening hours isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Lagos and Delta state.
