NiMet forecasts thunderstorm, cloudy, sunshine

The Nigerian Metrological Agency (NiMet) has forecasted the average weather conditions of states in Nigeria for Wednesday 26 May 2021.

According to the forecasts by the agency via its Twitter account, partly cloudy to sunny skies should prevail over the Northern region during the morning hours. Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Adamawa, Taraba, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara state.

Cloudy skies with spells of sunshine are anticipated over the North central region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of The Federal Capital Territory, Kwara, Niger and Plateau state during the afternoon and evening hours.

Cloudy skies should prevail over the inland and the coastal cities of the South during the morning hours.

However, isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Anambra, Ondo, Oyo, Edo, Ogun, Abia, Imo, Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Delta state during the afternoon and evening hours.
