NiMet forecasts thunderstorm, cloudy, sunshine

The Nigerian Metrological Agency (NiMet) has forecasts the average weather conditions in Nigeria for Saturday 15 May 2021.

The agency anticipates cloudy to sunny skies over the Northern region during the morning hours. There are chances of thunderstorms over parts of Zamfara, Bauchi, southern-Borno, Kebbi, Gombe, Adamawa, Taraba and Kaduna state during the afternoon and evening hours.

The North central region is expected to be cloudy with intervals of sunshine during the morning hours.

However, there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Plateau, Niger, Kwara, Kogi and the FCT during the afternoon and evening hours.

The Inland cities of the South are expected to be under cloudy skies with chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Ogun, Edo, Oyo, Ondo and Imo state during the afternoon and evening hours.

Cloudy skies are expected over the Coastal cities of the South with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Lagos and Ogun state in the morning.

There are chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River and Lagos state during the afternoon and evening hours.
