NiMet forecasts thunderstorm, cloudy and sunny skies

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (Nimet) has predicted the average weather conditions of states in Nigeria for Sunday 30 May 2021.

The Agency predicted that there will be partly cloudy to sunny skies which will prevail over the northern region during the morning hours.

Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe, Bauchi, Kaduna, Kebbi & Zamfara state.

Cloudy skies with spells of sunshine are anticipated over the North central region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Kwara, Niger, Kogi, Nassarawa and Plateau state during the afternoon and evening hours.

Cloudy skies should prevail over the inland and coastal cities of the South with prospects of morning thunderstorms over parts of Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Rivers.

However, isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Enugu, Ondo, Oyo, Edo, Ogun, Osun, Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta and Lagos state during the afternoon and evening hours.
