NiMet forecasts thick dust, thunderstorms, cloudy condition

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has forecasts the average weather conditions of states in Nigeria for thursday 26 March 2021.

Thick dust haze is expected over parts of Kano, Katsina, Sokoto and Borno states, while Yola, Kaduna, Jalingo and Kebbi should be in dust haze with the visibility range of 2-5km however, there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over Taraba and Southern Adamawa in the morning hours.

The North central cities should be in partly cloudy skies with chances of isolated thunderstorms over Kogi, Abuja and Ilorin during morning hours & partly cloudy skies in the afternoon and evening hours over the region.

Thunderstorms should prevail over the southern cities in the morning hours except for Abia, Ebonyi and Enugu that will be in partly cloudy skies.

Lately in the day, a few thunderstorms are expected over parts of Osun, Oyo, Ogun and Imo while the remaining parts of the region will be in cloudy skies during afternoon and evening hours.
