The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has forecasts today’s average weather conditions of the country.
According to the forecast, there will be sunny and hazy conditions over the North and some parts of North central cities like Bida, Minna and Jos throughout the forecast period.

Meanwhile, Sunny skies with patches of clouds are expected over parts of Makurdi Lokoja, Ilorin Lafia and Abuja of the North central cities throughout the forecast period. It should be predominately cloudy with spells of sunshines over the Inland cities of the south with prospects of a few thunderstorms over parts of Ibadan and Abeokuta during the afternoon & evening period.
The coastal cities of the south should expect good amount of cloud coverage with chances of localised thunderstorms over parts of Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River during the morning period.
There are better prospects of thunderstorms over parts of Lagos , Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross-River state in the afternoon and evening period.
