The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has revealed today’s weather conditions. According to the forecast released by the agency via its Twitter page, there will be sunny conditions with patches of clouds over the northern region during the morning hours. Later in the day, there are prospects of thunderstorms over parts of Kaduna, Taraba and Adamawa state.
Sunny atmosphere with pockets of clouds is expected to prevail over the north central states with chances of localized thunderstorms over parts of Abuja and Niger state during the latter hours of the morning.

During the daylight hours, afternoon & evening period holds better prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Niger, Benue, Nasarawa, Kwara and Kogi state.
Meanwhile, cloudy conditions are anticipated over the inland cities of the south while the coastal cities of Calabar & Eket, along with the southern parts of Ondo & Ogun states have prospects of isolated thunderstorms during the morning hours.
Edo, Ado-Ekiti, Delta, Cross River, Rivers, Oyo, Osun and Lagos State will experience localized thunderstorms later in the day.
