Niger State has joined forces with Saudi Arabia to embark on an ambitious initiative aimed at propelling the dairy industry to new heights.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago revealed this momentous partnership, highlighting the pivotal role played by Almaraya, the world’s largest dairy farm, in awarding Niger State a monumental $1 billion contract for alpha-alpha grass cultivation.
With the support of the operational Biro pod, the state aims to cultivate 13,000 hectares of land generously provided by the Emirates Council in the Barrow area.
This collaboration stands poised to revolutionize Niger State’s agricultural sector, thanks to the visionary leadership and support from the highest echelons of government.
