The National Assembly, Staff of Information Department in a grand style has adieus the former director of information, as he assumed another new office.
Mr Agada Rawlins Emmanuel was elevated to the post Agt Deputy Clerk Administration of National Assembly on the 9th of June 2023.
In grand style all the staff in the department celebrated the outgoing director. The celebration took place on Monday in Abuja at the National Assembly Complex.
Emmanuel, the New Agt Deputy Clerk Administration of National Assembly appreciated all the staff for the surprised adieu, “Today is the official day for me to tell all my staff thank you all for making the work easier.”
Speaking on the part of his achievements, Mr Emmanuel said through his tenure issues of correspondence covering the national assembly and accreditation have been taken off.
“Also, with NUJ membership recognition, things have been taken care of by recognition of the body by all the media operations in NASS.”
He further urged all the staff to give maximum support to the incoming director and also he advise them to be proactive in delivering duties
The Permanent Secretary Research and Information Directorate, Pharm Ali Umaru Barde applauded the outgoing director for the foundation of the good job he had laid, when things are tough.
“Working with him is commendable, it is a thing of joy for me that my brother has been elevated.
“He has that father figure, for intervention in solving any problems within the department. Due to his efforts the committee on information has been rated as one of the best committees in Nass assembly.
“He is a director above all directors, I pray for excellence and sustainability as you carry out duties in the future endeavors.”
Dr Morayo Agbi, Director of Statistics also commended him for readiness in delivering his duties and that has earned him great attainment.
Director Research Dept Mr Alexander , describes him as a creative icon, and prays that he extends his good work as he takes on in his other offices.
Also, goodwill messages from the others staff, describe him as a leader that anybody can work with, very accommodative, and commended him on the staff welfare.
NASS-TV, one of the olders staff, commended the director and said since the assump the in office there has been significant changes in NASS TV.
Speaking on his progress as director of information there has also been a recognition from the legislators.
Also, one of the staff commended the director for the open arms extended to the Staff.
