Commissioner in charge of energy from the 36 stayed of the federation have converged on Maiduguri, Borno State, for the 2025 National Council on Power (NACOP) to fashion out bold reforms for Nigeria’s struggling power sector.
Held from May 26 to 30 at the Government House’s Multipurpose Hall, the summit now in its sixth edition is convened by the Federal Ministry of Power under Chief Adebayo Adelabu.
This year’s theme, “Consolidating Reforms for a Sustainable Energy Future in Nigeria,” reflects rising national urgency to overhaul electricity systems and expand access.
