Makinde reopens Shasha market

By Nneka Nwogwugwu

Governor Seyi Makinde has ordered the immediate reopening of the Shasha market.

Recall that the Oyo state government had shut down the market for one week following the clash between the Yoruba and Hausa in the market.

A 24-hour curfew was also imposed on the community.

The order for reopening of the market was reached during a meeting with the Shasa Community leaders, held at the Western Hall, Secretariat, Ibadan, Naturenews gathered.
